What is the jam band scene like?
I’ve never been to a jam band concert, but have heard a lot about them from my friend? Would a normal person fit in, or would I stand out? My friends tell me there are a lot of hippies there, so I’m thinking I’d stand out.
First of all, there’s no “normal” at a jam band concert. There are so many different types of people, that it’s impossible to group us all together. As for will you fit in, of course. Everyone fits in, we’re not judgmental! If you jam band music, then attend.
Well there are old people, young people. Black people white people. People who dance, people who sit back and enjoy the music, people of all different types. I wouldn’t say anyone really stands out, because really no matter how “weird” you’re dressed, there’s always someone a tad more out there. Don’t worry about it just have a good time.
