Summer Camp 2009 Announced with Partial Artist Lineup

For almost a decade Summer Camp Music Festival has been rocking out to some of the best jam bands in the world.  Finally after months of waiting they’ve announced that a 2009 fesitival will exist, and listed the dates as May 22-24 in Chillicothe, Illinois.  As of now there is a partial lineup list which includes:

So far most of the announced bands have played in Summer Camp in previous years, so hopefully we see some new bands.  No information is being released on the late night shows, so perhaps there is no lineup for that yet.  Usually the late night show hosts many popular artists such as Umphrey’s McGee and Moe.  If you plan in advance, then you’re in luck.  First tickets go on sale January 3rd, and are only $95.  However, the longer you wait, the more the tickets will cost as the demand goes up.  Compared to many other ourdoor music festivals, $95 for three days of camping and music is an outstanding deal.
